Getting to the city centre from Kastrup airport is easiest by either train or metro, the latter being very fast and with many departures, but only the train connection stops at the central train station. The trains leave every 15 minutes or so, and the journey takes roughly 20 minutes.

The fare covers 3 zones in the public transport system, and costs DKK 30,- per person.

You can also take the taxi from the airport. Expect the journey to take around 40 minutes, and the price to be around DKK 150,-.
