Moot Courts
Information!
There will be an information-meeting in "Jurahuset", Studiestræde 34 on the 2th of September 2008 at 4pm. (kl. 16:00) where you can meet former participants and hear more about the moot-courts.
The application deadline for Immaterialret, EU, Jessup, Jean-Pictet and "The Copenhagen Competition" will be September 4th 2008.
The application deadline for INC and Nordic will be later in the autumn semester of 2008.
Deadline for the CISG was back in May of 2008.
The Faculty has a long tradition of participating in international moot court competitions. Today, we participate in eight moot court competitions as well as an international negotiation competition.
We hope that you will be interested in joining one of our teams. Every year, some of our international students join one of our teams and represent both the Faculty and the University at the competitions taking place around the world. We have had teams in Singapore, Spain, USA and Austria. Next year, one of the teams will go to Hong Kong as part of the CISG moot court.
Participating in a moot is an excellent way of socialising with Danish and international students as you work together as a team. You must expect to work hard as well as there is quite a work load preparing written memorials and oral pleadings.
